THIS IS SPARTA is my musical journey since 2020. Mediterranean inspired melodic music taken from the region as well as traditional Rock & Pop music styles to be released.

Initially this project was created by having travelled and lived in the region, it inspired me with a fresh look trying to make different music. At some point in life you embrace your heritage and past, IMO it is all part of the journey.

BIO:

I have played mostly in cover bands but also had my own band & projects with other musicians making original music. 
My main instrument is the electric guitar, but I also write my compositions using keyboard/synthesizer and play the bass guitar.
I find myself inspired by different artists and styles that come from the Mediterranean regions.

As my father was Griko-Sicilian, I was acquainted to a variety of music styles since my young days. From Portugal to Greece there is plenty of inspiration to fetch from great music made.
